Bio-printer BioX

The BioX3 from Cellink company is a complementary technology to the stereolithography printers of the MultiFAB platform. It is based on the extrusion of bio-inks (hydrogel, hydrogel loaded with cells, drop deposit...) through a syringe.

The main characteristics of this equipment:

  • Technology based on the extrusion of materials through syringes, nozzles, etc.
  • The printer consists of 3 interchangeable heads with different functionalities:
    • Cooled pneumatic head, 
    • Thermoaplastic extruder, 
    • Electromagnetic droplet print head,
    • Syringe pump printhead, 
    • Photocuring tool head,
    • HD camera tool head
  • Temperature control
  • X-Y and Z moving heads
  • A cleaning and sterilisation system for the printing chamber
