The projet will be presented in the session "Aircraft-based observation of the atmosphere and atmosphere-surface exchange processes" of the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2016, Vienna (Austria).
A paper accepted at ICRA 2016
We are very happy that our paper entitled "Monitoring the Evolution of Clouds with UAVs" has been accepted for oral presentation at the icra 2016 conference (all the more since this year only 1 paper out of 3 went through the selection process)
One year of work synthesized in a poster
During the fall meeting of the fundation STAE that supports the project, a poster that summarizes the work achieved so far is on display. It is quite challenging to present all what has been made with only a few keywords and pictures...
Skyscanner presented at one of the RSS 2015 workshops
The current status of the work on cloud mapping and exploration has been presented as a poster at the Principles of Multi-Robot Systems workshop, held in conjunction of the Robotics: Science and Systems conference, Roma (Italy).
A glimpse at the work achieved so far presented at MAC-RC Garden workshop
The current status of the project research activites has been presented at the MAV-RC Garden Workshop (download the slides). Later on, our colleagues from ENAC demonstrated an automated flight procedure to estimate the polar curve of a Multiplex Solux glider, equipped with an in-house developped angle of attack sensor (watch a video that summarizes the procedure).
