HYDRES is a scientific project funded by the French agency for research (ANR) (46 months from march 2022 to december 2025).

The main objective of HYDRES is to propose an optimal architecture for hybrid photovoltaic-thermoelectric systems. In particular, HYDRES aims at demonstrating that PV-TE hybridization can be used to improve the conversion of solar energy while keeping the device compact, thereby paving the way towards self-sufficient embedded systems.
